We are looking for a hard-working, friendly, self-motivating person(s), to join us on a casual basis, to help with general stewarding across our season of 2021 Events. We are able to offer a genuine hands- on experience of playing an integral role to deliver events from start to finish within a small, friendly team. You can expect hard physical predominantly outdoor work, but also a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere where everybody pitches in and where you can learn some vital event management skills and gain some really useful industry experience .
We expect all candidates to be committed to putting in 100% effort, as our whole team will be working alongside them doing the same. Our on-site management team will also be available to answer questions/help candidates to maximise their experience of event organisation wherever logistically possible, for candidates wishing to use the opportunity in this way.
General Stewarding – assisting/helping with public enquiries and marshalling the public throughout the day. Working on the entrance, checking guests in, helping give out free samples/ loading up stock on goody bag tent. Keeping an eye on site for bins/litter that need emptying/picking. Generally working where needed alongside our in-house team, to help deliver safe, fun and enjoyable events.
Set-Up/De-rig – helping with all tasks needed to prepare the site and event ready for opening and dismantling/taking down after close of event. Great Hands-on experience to experience and assist with all elements of delivery of a live event, literally from start to finish
Location – various – all site based work – see website for list of all venues. Accommodation will be provided for events that require travel and/or those working more than one day consecutively.
Hours – approx. 8am -6pm daily.
Pay £10 per hour.
Own car preferred but not essential.
