Operations Assistant | Challenge 7

We are looking for an organised and professional student to assist us in the operational responsibility for our final year live event.

For level 5 students, this can contribute to your needed work experience hours.

Who we are looking for

As a motivated individual, you will be on-hand to support all operational aspects of the event. You will need to be a good communicator and able to work with others (especially virtually!).

Knowledge of virtual event platforms is preferable (please indicate if yes in application)

What you will be doing

– Assist in ensuring smooth operation of the ‘live’ event

– Following the gantt chart/event plan to ensure correct time management

– If possible, assisting with venue set-up/take-down

– Assist with enquiries from attendees

– Collate event feedback from attendees

What is Challenge 7?

Between 7th March – 7th April, participants will complete a creative challenge (anything they can think of!), which incorporates the number 7 – representing the 7 hills of Sheffield.

On the 10th April, we will host a virtual event at which we will acknowledge and celebrate participants achievements. This event will include awards, entertainment, and information on Cavendish Cancer Care – the charity for whom the event is fundraising.

We look forward to reading your application, and hopefully welcoming you to the Challenge 7 team!
