Event Volunteer –
Event volunteers are essential to the running of every aspect of The Yorkshire Chocolate Festival, while pre- and post-event volunteers also provide vital support on the day to help us fundraise.
We welcome volunteer applications from people of all backgrounds. We will be looking for support from traffic management, ticket checking, stewarding, selling raffle tickets and more! The role will be ad-hoc throughout the event and you may get to volunteer in different roles on the day.
No specific skills required! A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved are all that we need! Great communication skills are a bonus and a confidence to speak to people too
We will supply you with a full brief and full support at the event.
Performance volunteers are essential to help us entertain guests in the courtyard whilst attending The Yorkshire Chocolate Festival. You will be helping us fundraise and keep guests at the venue!
You need to be a confident performer or small group who can learn the words to a few songs to sing in front of a live audience. A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved are what we are looking for.
Working with Roundabout’s Fundraising and Comms Team to document a fantastic event. We will be asking you to take photos of The Yorkshire Chocolate Festival.
You will need to have your own equipment or be able to borrow it and be comfortable using a camera. You will be photographing the event as a whole as well. If you can edit your photos that is a bonus. We will ask for you to send through your top three photos by Monday morning, so we can try and get them into the press first thing and ask for you to send over the rest of your photos as soon as you can.
Whilst we will supply you with a full brief and full support at the event, we ask that you are comfortable enough to use your own initiative whilst taking photos.
